The "Off to the Races" Derby Auction, presented by O'Rourke Orthodontics, will take place on Saturday, March 4th at 6pm in the SJNCS Gymnasium (a "grown-ups" only event). Click on "Tickets" above to purchase tickets.
The online auction will occur the week before the event. Information and instructions will be publicized before it goes live, so stay tuned.

Information and FAQs about the Online Auction and the Event
Online Auction
The online auction will begin on Tue., Feb. 28th and ends at 9pm on Sat. March 4th. So whether you’re at the event or not, you can participate in the online auction (but you don’t want to miss the event!). Information and a link will be e-mailed and posted on SJN Facebook pages before the online auction begins. Please share the link with friends and family who would want to bid. At the in-person event, you will use your smartphone for all bidding and Raise the Paddle contributions (the only exception is the in-person only, live auction items, which will not be done via phone).
The online auction includes several different categories:
- Classroom art made by SJNCS students
- Experiences
- Baskets, packages, and individual items
- Wine pull: Make a $20 donation and receive a bottle of wine (bottles will be wrapped, so what you get will be a surprise… every bottle is valued at a minimum of $10).
- The Mustang Store: A wide variety of gift cards will be available for “buy it now” purchases. Also, for every purchase you make in the Mustang Store, you will receive a ticket for the door prize (no limit). The door prizes will be drawn at the event on March 4th but you do not have to be present to win. The door prizes include the following: $500 off tuition, $250 credit in the cafeteria, and $100 credit in the cafeteria (if you win and do not have children at the school, you will receive a prize of the same value).
- There will be a few really exciting live auction items only at the in-person event (another reason you don’t want to miss it!)
“Raise the Paddle”: You’ll also see that you can make a donation to Raise the Paddle online, so please consider doing so. If you’re attending the in-person event, wait until then to participate in Raise the Paddle.
The Event
What does the ticket price include? A fantastic dinner catered by Froschauer Fine Catering (owned by SJN Dad, Todd White), 1 drink ticket per person (beer, wine, or our special signature drink)*, a DJ and dancing, 360 degree video booth, access to bid on the in-person-only live auction items, a ticket for a chance to win door prizes, a great way to make new SJN friends, and most importantly, the warm feeling of knowing you’re making an impact on the lives of our students and the SJN school and parish as a whole. *New this year is an option to buy a bottomless souvenir beer or wine cup at the event.
What should I wear? Dress like you would for a special date night or night out with friends (this is not a formal event with a strict dress code… come comfortable or make it an excuse to dress up). Have a derby hat or fascinator you want to wear? Bring it! Just come ready to have fun!
What is the program schedule? 6pm: Bar opens and hors d’oeuvres, 7-8pm: Dinner, 7:45pm: Live auction and Raise the Paddle, 9pm: Silent auction closes, 10pm: Head home and get excited for next year’s event!
How will this year’s proceeds be used? This year's proceeds will help fund new Chromebooks for the elementary school and a brand new, integrated sound system for the gym. The sound system is used by both the school and parish throughout the year (plays, concerts, sports, school events, parish events, assemblies, etc.).
